Spin Doctor
I was getting real bored of cross country skiing on the elliptical machine. So, my personal trainer, Todd, suggested I take a spinning class. I fought the idea for weeks, but in an effort not to lose my exercising momentum, I decided to try it out.
I was on vicodin for two days after my first class!
I had one giant bruise that was in the shape of the bike seat. It hurt to walk the tiniest of steps. My ass was throbbing. My back ached. My legs were quivering. My feet seemed like jelly. And my coochie was numb for 30 minutes post class. I was a mess!
But I went back two days later with a gel seat and the determination to make it through the class even though my ass was still seriously bruised. Todd says, "You have to work through the pain" and that I did.
Now, I am four classes into this and the bruises are gone, my feet have adjusted and my legs are strong. The amount of sweat that pours off of me is amazing and feels empowering. I have invited two friends to join me in this awesome workout. One flaked and the other pretended to stretch out aching muscles for half of the class. I know her coochie was just numb.
Be Blessed!

I've been re-inspired! Thanks Diva, anytime you want to spin, just say the word.
Diva in Training...I love the honsety and determination. Maybe I'll get back in the gym...I am a far ways off from "Let me count the ways," but I am motivated to get back on track. Keep up the good work.
